WOODPECKER TOURSIn the summer of 2009, we started a new rate structure for daily woodpecker tours. These are different from regular private tours in the following ways: --Limited to Sisters and Camp Sherman areas. --We target primarily woodpecker species, although we will certainly still share our broad knowledge of all birds encountered along with local natural history and conservation. --We will take up to 9 birders per day (2 guides for 7 or more people). --Tours run on a fixed schedule, that is, you must plan to remain with the group for 4 or 8 hours, depending on the tour. As with our regular private tours, we will pick you up at and return you to your place of lodging. All Woodpecker Tours require a minimum of 2 people. Rates are as follows: Half-day Woodpecker Tour (4 hours) - $75/person Full-day Woodpecker Tour (8 hours) - $130/person We typically run Woodpecker Tours with 12 hours notice, although you are encouraged to contact us in the morning to check availability for the same day. |
