Monterey & San Francisco Bay Areas
January 16-22, 2011

Explore Pt. Lobos, Moss Landing, Panoche Valley, Alum Rock, SF Bayshore, and Pt. Reyes. Long species list relative to trip length and birding at the best local habitat oases.

Ferruginous Hawk, Prairie Falcon, “California” Clapper Rail, Surfbird, Black Oystercatcher, Greater Roadrunner, Nuttall’s Woodpecker, Oak Titmouse, Varied Thrush, Wrentit, California Thrasher, Phainopepla, California Towhee, and Tricolored Blackbird.
